Dr. Janine Peacher was unanimously voted as ‘Sorority Member of the Year’ because of her dedication to members, chapter programs, and community initiatives.

Nikki Gibson, Jade LaMar-Hursey, and Allegra Thigpen  were honored at the McLean County Chamber of Commerce Leaders of Distinction Awards for The 20 Under 40 program, sponsored by Pantagraph Media. The program recognizes young professionals who are making a difference in their community.

Dr. Carla Campbell-Jackson was honored with the Roy Wilkins Award for exemplary service tothe local branch of the Bloomington-Normal chapter of the NAACP. Campbell-Jackson is firstvice president of the Bloomington-Normal branch and state secretary officer of the NAACP
